Leicester sacking Ranieri was an act of treachery - Man Utd sacking Moyes was an act of mercy (mainly to the fans).
For the avoidance of doubt ... I was completely against the sacking of Claudio Ranieri ... and one of the relative few who had welcomed his appointment (his CV was incredibly impressive in comparison to most realistic alternatives) ... and I was not a huge fan of Nigel Pearson ... which the majority were ... That said .. our owners have put the club in a different stratosphere since they have arrived ... There is no point having an overly emotional attachment to either players or managers ... although Claudio Ranieri will forever have my heart felt thanks and warmest best wishes
