He could be tempted to go indeed. He’s quite an emotional chap though and has a bond with the fans and area here. The way Claudio was treated may play on his mind as he likes job security. He may also look at Lester and think he can never match the clubs previous success in the PL and see Toon as more of an opportunity to take a club forward. It will likely boil down to whether or not Ashley backs him though. If Fat Mike stitches him up he may walk as he is principled. Fact.
Why on earth anybody would take over at Leicester is beyond me, they **** on managers even when they perform miracles.
.... probably for the same reasons that United still had people interested after the disgraceful treatment of Wee Davy Notes...
It will be a real pity if Rafa leaves but it will probably come down to two things: 1) whether we have a buyer in the Summer that can agree a price with Ashley 2) and if not whether Ashley will commit to significant transfer funds He seems to have a knack of getting the best out of players. He knows exactly how he wants the team to play and doesn't suffer players who aren't capable of sticking to the game plan. And he has instilled a backbone in a team that was severly lacking one. I suspect he would regard Leicester as a step sideways rather than upwards. One thing about Ashley is he sticks with Managers when things are going wrong. As long as there is some money available I think he will stay put.
you said disgraceful treatment of davy - i'm taking that was a direct comparisson to tel saying your club ****ting on managers
I’ve just stumbled over the last couple of pages of this thread. Why have you lads been rag dolling Bambi?
