They are still probably as good as they can afford. As long as we expect no fee or offer to pay all their wages.
Praise for TC - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...promotion-winner-at-fortuna-sittard-1-5497466 I hope DF promotes him to the 1st team squad next season!!!!!
Giv Given that he played against Chelsea in the cup I think he's already in the senior squad JMF. The rave reviews from Fortuna fans bode well for his chances.
Idah seems another exciting prospect and I've unearthed this little snippet - "As Hoolahan closed the book on his storied Norwich career, the ink was barely drying on the newest chapter of what is sure to be an epic from young Adam Idah. Free-scoring, electric pace, and just seventeen years old. It has been quite the year for one of Norwich City’s hottest prospects. As outlined by my colleague, Simon O’Keeffe, in his feature piece on Idah, the future looks bright for the Corkonian." “This time last year, the young Corkman had just helped the Boys in Green to qualify for the UEFA under-17 European Championships with a 100% record in the elite round in Cyprus. In the year since, Idah was in the side that reached the last eight of the aforementioned finals, signed for Championship side Norwich City, made his mark in the FA Youth Cup, signed a boot deal with manufacturing giant Adidas and taken this year’s qualification by storm by finishing top scorer with eight goals.” The perfect year got even better last night for Idah, with his outstanding contribution being recognised at Norwich City’s annual awards night. The former Douglas Community School student took home both the Norwich City FC U18 Player Of The Year Award, and the Academy Player Of The Year. #thefuturesbright
It's great to have another great prospect coming through, I wonder if he'll be ready for a lge 1 or 2 loan next season? It sounds like he has caught the attention of some bigger fish already, so this is where our new set up must earn its corn. Not only to transition him to our first team and not Man U reserves. Bah!
Yes, that sounds about right. Wes has already gone and though DF says he'd like to get Gunn back next year, that could be difficult. Reed will probably return to Southampton and Watkins and Wildschut are other possible leavers. Then there's Madders of course. I'm hopeful Leitner will return next year as his contract expires at the end of June. Leistner could well be coming in and we certainly need at least one striker. If Watkins and Wildschut leave we'll need at least one wide player as well. Those sort of numbers seem much more normal though, so we should have a reasonably settled squad to start the season. It'll be interesting though!
Maybe he's learned from his big mistakes. Lets see how he does next season. I'm really happy for him and Brighton. Nice bloke, and what seems like a nice little club.
Very unlikely, Bure. As Goethe pointed out, those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them.
