Match Day Thread Tottenham Hotspur v Watford

Son has been very wasteful so far. Too many touches and won’t seem to release it early enough.

 

This is really poor. Son, Dembele and Kane are virtual passengers. Getting overrun in MF by Watford FFS!!

 

The whole team looks very tired.

I’ll be amazed if we keep a clean sheet at this rate.

Need a second.

 

Don’t know what Lamela or Lucas have to do to get in the team over Son at the moment. Seems like another “unfit” performance from Kane.... again!

 

The same core players have played pretty much the whole season and now it’s really starting to show.

 

We are playing lackadaisical ****e.

And we’re gonna pay for it soon if we don’t wake up!..

 

Defensively we're all over the shop and Dier and Dembele making matters worse.

Poch needs to make changes but we know nothing will happen before 70 minutes

 

We have Hugo to thank for that, 1- 3 would be a better reflection.

 

Sloppiness from the same players yet again.

Similarly coming out a poor second in the 50:50s.

Thank God for the Watford GK gift.

 

Completely awful. Rubbish atmoshphere, rubbish football from both sides. Feels more like an early preseason friendly.

Dembele's having the sort of game that makes you think that, actually, Sissoko wouldn't be so bad

 

Son needs to come off. All he does is lose the ball.

 

Hugo has saved us and Tripps is the only outfield player to come out with any credit. Piss poor!
Verts and Dave ok, Ben ok defensively but hasn't offered anything further forward. Sonny and Kane look off it and the MF is AWOL.

Watford could be 3-1 up by now

 

Eriksen has been good too. His and Trippier’s link up play has been very good.

 

Either he or Wanyama would be an improvement. Introduce Lucas to liven things up..... PLEASE!!
