so cool. theres pics like that of aligators swimming down streets after they had the floods in australia at the start of the year.
People are paranoid about sharks. Live in a country where sharks are prevalent. In the last 60 years, we've lost 1 person per year to shark attack. We lose 1500 per year on our roads. If you lived on a beach and NEVER crossed a road, you be more likely to be hit by a vehicle than be taken by a shark. More people die eating shark, than the other way around.
gordon ramsay did a show not long ago about shark fin soup, it was horrifying. thousands of fins chopped off the poor sharks, they showed a video of a fisherman chopping one off a shark, then throwing it back in the water to die, it was horrific.
For every human killed by a shark apparently millions of sharks are killed by humans. There has been an explosion in the octopus population, due to the lack of shark predation, causing a major decline in the lobster industry. Sharks need immediate protection. The Chinese don't give a toss about the balance of nature as long as they have soup (which apparently is tasteless). Dozy bastards.
It's utterly disgraceful. Wit no fin they can't swim properly or catch pray and basically starve to death which can take several days.
