Good morning all, havn't replied much to threads/posts lately,as someone perfectly summed up, how many times can you talk about the shyte,we have had to endure recently.Andy carrol and Peter Crouch WOW what acquisitions they would be if we could afford the wages. Two excellent seasoned players from the old school, would give 150% every game & more importantly know where the back of the net is,Crouch reminds me of Lee Chapman, doesn't do much (creativity), but give it to them (particularly on the head) in and around the six yard box and it's as good as a goal.Lovely jubbly as Dell would say.and what roll models for any of the younger players breaking into the team.
But they would need a descent midfield, somewhere else where we have been poor, ie a supply chain or they to would be ineffective,to sum up a total rebuild, with a seasoned manager,ie big Mick or Nigel Pearson Crouch up front & Wow i would be one very happy Leeds supporter, would also send, in my opinion a message of intent to the rest of the championship, watch out Leeds are back.

    Morning all.

Anyone else feeling a bit jilted after the weekend ?

I mean we had all these new posters coming on wanting to talk about football and then the weekend comes and they disappear back to their exes.

At least 1964 looks like he's here to stay, although after reading his match reports the last few weeks I think he may need counseling. Depression can be a killer so let's all sign up for the horse racing gamey thingy he's setting up to lift the poor lads spirits.

Personally I blame the likes of sky, the amount of money being talked about is obscene, it's not just footballers who are at fault. Everyone in football these days is on the gravy train.

The thing is 2p no one forces anyone to spend even a penny supporting or watching football.

In fact if you think about it people who follow that route are actually getting a great deal...are they not ?

That's exactly why the match thread is meant to stay on topic. Hope we aren't losing or putting off more posters than we realise

I understand what you are saying but we will need to agree to disagree on this one. The whole of society is trying to push us all into a certain direction to support the need for profit.

Yeah but the profit is for the fat cats and sportspeople who think work ends after they stop playing.love it when they justify it with saying how hard they work.

    Morning All

So glad we only have one game left this season. Agreed that the player's shouldn't be clapped off at the end of the game. If they get booed off then they deserve it after this season. Honest to god I've never been so depressed about a season than this one. If we had started off **** and continued **** then I wouldn't have been that bad,

The Chris Coleman thing is true. I've seen a couple of people tweeting Radz to get Coleman in as the manager. However the problem with Sunderland this last season hasn't been the managers it's the rot with in the club.

Should do, but I'll be ****ting myself on Sunday because we have a reputation of ****ing things up at the death....<laugh>

Ground has sold out for the game. Upper tier on the Ninian Stand (about 6000 seats) was released on the weekend and they've all gone by 10 am this morning.

Segregation requirements will reduce the capacity to just under 33,000 but that's just fantastic. <ok>

Unfortunately, after their 0-4 drubbing by Ipswich on the weekend, Reading are also fighting to stay up, but I agree Fulham have the hardest task.

I think we can win our game at home but I doubt Fulham will at St Andrews - we've just got to at least match their result.

Think you will need to win as Fulham will win at Birmingham as they have nothing to lose and everything to gain if you slip up.

Massive pressure then on your lads. Hope you do it and Fulham go up via the play offs meaning big spenders Villa, Boro and Derby (if they make it) have to suffer the consequences of that spending.

Still think Fulham won't take all three points at Brum but as you allude, we can't take the chance and must go for the win ourselves.

Also agree about Villa, Boro and Derby being less deserving of promotion than Fulham who have done far better on limited funds.

As long as it's only a couple of tweets doesn't matter. Colman is not my kind of manager.

The game finished at 16.55 on Saturday the inquests were held and nothing more can be gleaned....
How many times does anyone need to read Rad is clueless, orta needs to feck off, PH needs yo go and this squad need selling in more or less its entirety.
You don't need a ****ing matchday thread just copy and post any of the old ones since October or just use the never used on topic thread.
Nobody apart from Matt and shaks are maliciously dragging the matchday thread off topic but a day later it has expired it has ceased to be... so why the drama?
