they've been doing that in Serbia for years. Every time Red Star or Partizan visit my fair town of Novi Sad there is a 1 kilometre alcohol free zone around the ground for the day. Pain in the ass if you want a glass of wine with your steak at the restaurant but does have the effect of stopping groups of drunks getting together close to the ground. Doubt if Southampton could come up with something so simple and radical for tomorrow?
Makes sense with the Liverpool,Roma game especially after tensions maybe high after the arrest of 2 Roma fans for stabbing a Liverpool fan......revenge may be on some peoples agenda and alcohol would certaintly would stir people's emotions up. And as for the saints game I hope the police are on the ball and defuse anything they see.
I’m sure there was something similar in our away game with Inter Milan. Got the stadium then had to ahead away (a mile or kilometre) to find a place that would sell us alcohol.
It´s Bournemouth folks. Neither set of supporters are reknowned for hooliganism and would be very suprised if there was even any fisticuffs. The fisticuffs are more likely to be between SFC fans judging by comments on here in recent weeks. . Let´s just enjoy the football and whatever transpires we all live to enjoy another day.
I am studying the tables of all 4 divisions and notice how in a number of instances a geographical balance is maintained. So let´s see! PL/Championship: Wolves for WBA, Villa or Derby (possible) for Stoke (Possible) Championship/League 1 Wigan and Blackburn for Bolton (possible), Rotherham (posible) for Barnsley (possible) League 1/League 2: Accrington for Bury.
Some always thought that he was mustard. It is staggering to see the mismanagement that has happened at this wonderful club. Once they get their act together, they should be back in the Championship within two years.
It can be tough though....which is why I never went along with those fans who wanted relegation so they could enjoy playing in the lower leagues ??? Eastleigh Chairman is leaving Eastleigh after the Sunderland deal.
He must have some considerable cash!! Good luck to the Black Cats in shifing their dead Wood. Wonder if they will go and get Potter from Sweden? They need a manager who is a "builder," and a boardroom with visión.
I find alcohol free beer OK. There is one, that is a draught, that is brilliant. Next time I go to the El Sol bar at Son Serra here in Mallorca, I will find out its name.
I'm sure some of them are quite nice Ides but I don't really see the point. Same with decaff coffee, why bother? Surely the drug is the point, in both cases. Like herbal cigarettes, all that cost and effort for something that fails to hit the spot.
May not contain alcohol, but has the taste....what is the alternative?. I don't like soft drinks and I struggle once I've had my one wine on a night out. I would definitely buy non-alcoholic wine if available, so can see why someone who is a beer drinker might be grateful for something that tastes similar.....otherwise it is Coca-Cola or similar. As for herbal cigs....they solve the need for a dummy in the mouth....which is half the problem for anyone trying to give up smoking.
Grape juice? I am with you though. If your not drinking, water is about the best option. Cola and other fizzy drinks are disgusting.
