    I can finally confirm the winner of the "Chippys leaving thread Sweepstake" from the start of the season.

    Sadly I went with "the 'turncoat' leaves in shame as he accidentally posts a video of him drywanking himself into oblivion as Sunderland get promoted".

    Womble wins with his guess of "makes a public **** of himself when his team gets relegated again".

    Can i draw your attention to the relevant clauses in the board posting agreement, agreed by all posters when signing up:

    Clause 5.2.1 a. All threads posted on the Newcastle Board will become the property of the Board of Moderators (BOM) immediately on posting. Copyright will remain in place indefinitely. Any poster wishing to duplicate a post on another thread or board must apply to the BOM for permission to repost. Such permission will not be unreasonably withheld, except in the case of Free-Dor, as he is a bit of a twat at the best of times. Any unauthorised posting will result in legal action against, and a permanent ban for, said poster.

    Clause 5.2.1. b. Exceptions to Clause 5.2.1.a include the following:
    • any of Chippy's match day threads - they are deemed to be of no literary or commercial value and so the BOM have waived copyright restriction
    • any of Free-Dor's posts - as they contain no elements of truth they cannot be covered under UK copyright law
    • any posts on Trev's headline threads or Nev/Musty Prediction Leagues - freedom from copyright in this case only applies to ACS as we couldn't afford the legal fees of his incessant plagiarism
