According to the Daily Fail, Palacios has signed for Stoke and Crouch may be shortly following afterwards. Does this signal the completion of Scott Parker from West Ham or maybe even Lassana Diarra from Real Madrid? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2030780/Stoke-sign-Wilson-Palacios-open-talks-Peter-Crouch.html
The Mail reporting on one of our midfielders leaving that isn't Modric? Who woulda thunk of it? Also in the Mail today...
Exactly. Maybe there is some truth to this story! Seems ironic that we've also drawn Stoke away in the Carling Cup.
Whilst the beeb are more reliable than the Fail, I'll still wait until its on the spurs site before giving it credence.
I know we've been after those two for a while, (and not that I'm complaining if this is true) but there's not been any confirmation from Stoke or the Stoke site... YET.
Delap is going to increase the height of his throws to maximise Crouch's height though, unless Crouch crouches.[/QUOTE] Ensil. Crouch needs to learn how to head a ball first!
I know it's not a done deal. But, IF somebody is actually prepared to pay the reputed £11-13mm for Bambi, then it just shows how crazy prices have become in the striker market.
Drive him!! I'd tie a rope around the ****ers legs, and drag him there. You couldn't ask him to find it himself, anyway. He'd miss it, for sure.
So does anyone know what happened to Palacios? He was a cracking player season before last. For a while he was getting interest from the likes of Real Madrid and now he's being offloaded to Stoke. You paid more than 10 mio for him didn't you? I recall his brother was murdered back in Honduras a while ago. Is his head not in it anymore, or does Harry just not like the bloke? What's happening with Bentley btw?
His form went to pot after his brother was killed, which is understandable. He may be able to rediscover it in a new environment and I think that most Spurs fans will wish him well and hope that he can recover. No real news on Bentley. Rumours about Fulham and Blackburn, but nothing solid.
