McCarthy made that last save for the cameras <laugh>. Some great saves throughout though.

Just watched a programme called Match of the Day. Forgotten it was still on!

What a win, this is work in progress and 4 points out of next 6 crucial minimum I think. Looks very possible!!!

Kind of agree. Think they left it all out there today. I’d rather see a bunch of knackered players that gave it everything, than a group with a load to spare not giving a ****.

Doubt it is fitness, much more confidence. Hopefully this win will give our pretty talented squad some much needed belief to get a positive result at Everton and Swansea.

I can’t agree with him that Tadic is average. Tadic may not be consistent, but he is certainly not average in ability.

I'm assuming he means average for that type of player (all playmakers have impressive technical ability, and therefore all look good 'on their day'). In which sense he is in the same mould as Barkley, Mata, Shaqiri et al.

Would Tadic - on this season's form, get in the Leicester team? Everton? Palace?

Tough to say, but that's probably the best way to judge it.

I gave McCarthy my MOTM yesterday. I sit behind the goal in the Chapel and that save with his legs was remarkable. I was sure that it was going in. I thought we were great but Bournemouth were very good going forward too- nerves were shredded by the end. And, yes the place was rocking, but that was because there was something worth cheering, not just the importance of the game. Regrettably, there was still not enough noise to drown out the women behind me. “See, here it comes!” every effing time the ball entered our half. Either that or a non-stop commentary about the bleeding obvious.
On the other hand- we won. It’s all that matters.

The marking for their goal was pretty unprofessional to be fair. Nobody marked King or watched him pull away, and there seemed to be a number of Saints players not really marking anyone

I was surprised that the Bournemouth players looked so guttered to loose

Sadly I wasn't at the match yesterday my brother is over from Aussie with his wife and daughter. So I was concentrating on rellie duties.........I managed to get glimpses during the game and later watched it on Match of the day. Is it my imagination or did we pass the ball a hell of a lot quicker? It seemed to me, although we still had passing errors, we were constantly trying to move the ball almost one touch football. Three players really stood out for me one was McCarthy other was Lemina (although he received a knock and was a bit quiet afterwards) but Tadic actually for once showed what he really has to offer if played in the right position.
Bournemouth to their credit played their part too. They went for it which obviously gave us our chances and to his credit their goalkeeper had a very good game. Well done Saints now lets do Everton over........COYS

It's never good conceding from corners. Shouldn't happen at this level really. Further evidence that we are still prone to at least one catastrophic defensive error per game, but at least now we have shown that we can recover and go on to win.

Yes Tadic was moving the ball quicker with urgency. Makes him a much more dangerous player. Even with his goals he just did the basics with out trying to be clever which he normally does.
