It is a bad break and we are waiting for her to have a cast fitted. It will need an operation sometime down the line.

Roads & cafes / pubs around the Valley packed.

It’s going to be a big crowd today.

    Good to see.

    Fantastic first half!
Blackburn looking very dangerous but our lads are giving absolutely everything. Aside from a few stray passes, everyone is playing well and getting stuck well into Rovers.

    Come on you Reds!

A gritty and determined win today in a match we never looked entirely comfortable. Our stand out players were the same as at Portsmouth - Amos, Kashi, Peace & Bauer.
Reeves in particular frustrated, and Marshall, Ajose & Magennis were poor.

Hard work and team spirit, allied to fantastic support again, carried us over the line. No side is going to fancy us in the Play Offs, but we still need a lot more from 3/4 individual
    players.

Good to catch up with @AllHellLetLoose and @ForestHillBilly inside the ground.

I don't agree that Marshall was poor, but the rest of your assessment chimes with what I saw today Royston.

A great atmosphere, even the East and West stands were singing towards the end.
Our players gave everything, and rode their luck a few times, particularly when that ball came down off the crossbar.
But there were plenty of blocks and good tackles as well as wayward passes.

A win against Rochdale and we are there. No result on Tuesday can take that from us now.

Marshall - worked hard as a defender but his crossing was sh1te & he offers nothing going forwards.

The only player I'd fault was Mavadidi, who came on when we needed fresh legs, but looked as though he wasn't bovvered. No Fosu, and Reeves off form meant we lacked creativity but made up for it with our team spirit. Amos, Pearce and Bauer are a formidable barrier, especially with Kashi in front. Marshall's defensive work was crucial too. I would give serious consideration to bringing KAG back. For all the hard work they do, Magennis and Ajose don't threaten enough, and Mavadidi Kai-kai and Zyro lack the desire.

Amos, Bauer and Pearce were magnificent, let’s not forget the the last ditch tackle Konsa made - was absolute class, and saved a certaint goal.

Kaikai didn't even make the bench yesterday <cheers>

It sounds counter-intuitive given the run we are on, but I would at least start with Zyro & Mavididi up front at Rochdale. Magennis just looks impotent [shades of Makienok with his mistimed jumps] and Ajose has a heavier touch than Pardew in a nightclub.

Marshall grafted, but his actual job is to beat his full back and create chances <whistle>

Marshall ran himself into the ground yesterday and did beat his full back several times in the first half... Reeves was poor and had to be substituted as we were playing with 10 men with him on the pitch, in the 7 minutes of extra time Marshall was on his knees twice finding it difficult to get up but on both occasions he did get up and chased back to help Konsa out.

Your second mistake on yesterday Royston...
    1) Firstly, ignoring my comment about the petition to have a referendum on the replacement of the Lords with a smaller elected body.... a comment that was dismissed at Half Time without reasonable thought <grr>
    2) Secondly, your dismissal of Big Mags performance yesterday ... Mag is a target man and won an awful lot of headers ... it was just that he and Ajose were just in the middle of some sort of marital argument and Mags flick ons NEVER went into the channels that Ajose was running in <doh>
