Adkins says he’s sorted pre-season already. Wants 20 in the squad and aims to sign many of them early - frustrated they’ll be short with exits looming from contracts ending. Says if they don’t sign early, it won’t be through his lack of trying.

He’ll be sacked by November in the PL.

What a horrendous team Cardiff are. But the referee was just witless. Encapsulated within five seconds when he watched Grujic, on a yellow card, rattle through Meyler and failed to give him a deserved second yellow, then seconds later booked Henriksen for a far less serious challenge. Hopelessly inconsistent.

The ref was even worse than we were, which wasn’t easy.

Cardiff are ****e, the fact that a team like that is still in the running for promotion tells you all you need to know about how poor the Championship has been this season.

Perfectly summed up by AN - Only City could lose 2-0 to a team that were trying to win 1-0.

    Rubbish.

Two strong centre backs who take no prisoners. Strong full backs.
    Gunnarson very good centre mid.
Two pacy wide men. Hoillet is a good wide man.
And a brick ****house of a centre forward who's is fast too.

id take that all day long. Instead of a midget centre forward, Dicko.
    A wimpy weak one, Keane.
A washed up one in Campbell.

Of course, if they are that ****e, it says much about Warnock's abilities getting them to where they are.

Well any team that's pushing up at the end of the game losing 1-0 could end up conceding a second. Cardiff were strong favourites for this game.

As has been said many times this season, this division barring Wolves and they aren't all that, is **** and we're amongst the ****test. Best run club my ****ing arse. We could have been back with someone who could borrow one and half more brain cells to go with the half he has..

It’s certainly a typical Warnock team, they grind out results, but it’s not pretty.

Next weekend promises to be edge of your seat stuff...

    Birmingham v Fulham (Brum -32)
    Cardiff v Reading... (Reading -22)
    they're on 43...
    _______________

    Preston v Burton (Burton -42)
    Derby v Barnsley (Barnsley -21)
    they're on 41

I'd like to see Barnsley and Burton escape at the expense of the other two...!!

Nigel Adkins - "I’m really disappointed! I wanted to give Cardiff, who have put themselves in prime position for the Premier League, a real test but it was tedious to watch, wasn’t it?"

    No ****.

Clubs employ Warnock for that reason. Grind out results and get them out of the division. If we had employed Warnock at the time he went to Cardiff there is no doubt we would have been in a far better position than we are now even with the boy wonder in charge.

He doesn't just grind out results. They play some good stuff. And they certainly did at qpr when he had taraabt.

All 8 have something to play for. Expect some strange results. Certainly not games to bet on.
