Village idiot now that is something,my views on the football club we support are different in many ways,Warnock has the title of the best manager to take clubs out of the championship -fact.

For me Village idiot <laugh> i do live in a remote area just outside a village in a nice big house sat in a couple of acres and owned my business for the last 28 years and made my millions:emoticon-0127-lipss but hey you carry on thinking Johnson is better than Warnock<doh>

90% of clubs would take Warnock over Johnson, Warnock has the chance of top two,Johnson bottled it back in Jan 2018:emoticon-0130-devil

In the short term, probably you are right, but who would you rather have to be manging in the Prem - a one dimensional dinosaur or an up and coming manager who has already won high praise this season for performances against the top 2 sides in English football!!

If Cardiff blow the autos and play offs, who will have been the bigger bottler RedRobin??

Johnson because we blew it from Jan 2018 where Warnock has not bottled it yet, win his two games there up.

Please don't talk about wealth on this thread....<laugh><laugh>

On the footballing front, if we blow it, we blow it, but at least we're in it to win it.

Both clubs had to give ourselves a chance at Christmas time when we were both well placed - we have, you clearly haven't.

Let's be honest Cardiff were looking at a play off spot at best and are fighting for automatic, well done them.

Bristol City were looking to consolidate in the championship,we started like a hare and ended up like a tortoise.Shambles with results, signings, tactics, loans, someone's head needs to roll,Mark Ashton has gone very quiet.Lee Johnson mumbles on like a record going over the same thing after each match.

Which we have done, wether we finish 7th or 10th, that is above where pretty much every fan expected us to be.
Of course it's disappointing from the giddy heights of Dec, but it's still very solid progress - why can't you see and give credit for that??

Simply put the second half of the season has been a disaster, the chance was there, and he blew it big time, something not right at Ashton Gate in my view.

Wealth does not reflect a persons intellect, my mum is a professor at Buckingham university, although she is not poor but she is still working at 71.

I know lots of people who’ve made it in business by having the tools but the business being run by employing intellectual people to help.

If you are intelligent I’m sorry but you’re lack of intellect does not transpire onto this board. Especially when you forget to put spaces after using a comma or full stop.

It's the lack of wins in the last few months that must be painful for you.

Big game for us against Hull today given Fulham's result last night. They're getting the rub as well.

Not sure about the playoffs. It's a cup competition, and funny things happen.

Be interesting Fulham don't go up. How will they fill their new 90k seater stadium?

He’s still ploughing 100 million into Craven cottage, so they won’t be going to Wembley.
Chelsea are the ones who’s going to be pissed off as they wanted to rent Wembley for three seasons to redevelop Stamford Bridge ground and hotels.

The thing for you if it is the play-offs, will be how the team pick themselves up after being top 2 pretty much all season. Warnock will need all his managerial nous if that happens. I don't think it will though as you should win your final 2 games and take the prize your form deserves this season.

I've said a few times, you're better off sneaking into 6th on the last day of the regular season on a run of form than dropping to third on a poor run.

Wish I had your confidence about our last two games. :emoticon-0107-sweat

Playing about in my 9 acres at the moment Just put the chainsaw down after cutting up a 20 foot branch that came down off one of the trees in the winter. Time to get the Massey out now.

Beats sitting behind a desk like I did all week.

I have to chop a 400 metre tree line before it gets out of hand :emoticon-0148-yes:

I had a large apple tree come down completely last year seem to take hours and hours to shred .

Comes down to a cup final next weekend.

All we need to do is equal Fulham's result. Still room for a slip up, but its ours to lose. Fulham at Brum who could still get relegated, Reading at ours who could also still get relegated. And as we all know, no gimmes in this league.

As you say, we've had a good season. I thought Warnock was dreaming when he said we'd make the playoffs (and we might still :emoticon-0107-sweat) and I'd have been happy with that. He's a confident guy and knows his stuff, irrespective of if you like his style. If we go up and he then fails, its worth it for the parachute payments. We'll need 4-5 new starters and 4-5 squad players to have any chance if we do make it.
