Have Roma been chargedby UEFA for failure to control their fans? Liverpool were fined for some fools destroying a bus that passed through the City where many of the supporters live. Those few do not represent the club but I can see why we were fined.
I dont know how it works in Italy but here, to qualify for away day fixtures - you must be a fully paid member and many away day packages are avtually arranged and planned by the club in accordance with supporter groups. If it is similar in Italy, then those fans are certainly known by the club and are representatives of Roma FC. Roma should, therefore be heavily fined.

Since our history is always dragged up with regard to fans, then certainly Roma's should be too. Their (much more recent) history of fan violence has barely been mentioned by any of the usual media outlet suspects - but Liverpools fan violence of the 80s gets brought up immediately and used to justify these attacks by saying it is our own fault? That is BS!

Fining Roma means nothing. Lock up the two thugs for attempted murder and it might send some kind of message.

That goes without saying. My point was the hypocrisy of UEFA quick to blame Liverpool for fan actions but not Roma for fans as potential away-day representatives of Roma

The Italian ultras held a conference to agree on some rules for behaviour.

The Roma ultras refused to agree to even not carry knives or attack civilians.

From that point on anyone identifying themselves as a Roma ultra should be considered a terrorist and refused entry to the UK.

The FA spends £1.1b building Wembley, still owes £113m for it, and is considering selling for £600m

    More bent than Bramley-Moore

The BBC using stats from before the Premier League.<yikes>

"Mohamed Salah, on Premier League 31 goals this campaign, needs just one more to become the standalone most prolific over a 38-game season.

He's currently level with Alan Shearer, Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo.

There is still a long way to match the all-time English top flight record though - Everton's Dixie Dean scored an incredible 60 goals over the 1927-28 campaign."

William Ralf's record will stand forever, so will a few others that sadly don't get a mention these days because they happened pre-premier league.

I remember big Bob Latchford hitting 30 league goals when I was a kid. It’d had not been done for years iirc and the Mirror had a 10 grand prize for any striker who could manage the feat that year. He hit a hatrick on the final day of the season in a 6-0 win over the Chavs......oh how times change......

He was great in the air or on the deck, and Dave Thomas laid on those lovely crosses for him.

    Boss that mate, cheers.

I’ve got a large black and white signed photo of the big fella, very similar to the cover shot on that video.

Different era. Different rules, you can’t compare number of goals in pass back days to today.

Bob was a great player, he walked of effin water.

    Good they should play football

Better than Stoke who have relegated themselves thinking a point was worth anything to them
