    We’re playing against you
    Therefore we’ll hate you
Therefore if we **** up your promotion chance it will be funny
    You’re there...in front of us...therefore I hope you **** up...there...in front of us

It’s not about Cardiff that much for me...although because you aren’t Hull City AFC I will hate you whenever we play you

Although to be honest I’ve had a few nights out in Cardiff and found the locals...horrible (although not willing to back up their threats with action)

I thought the thread was more about Warnock, I know nothing about Cardiff.

They were expected to go down last year as well.

You need some anger management pal - all that hate is childish, but there again if it does it for you, carry on.

As for "had a few nights out in Cardiff", that makes your opinions of the Welsh valid does - FFS grow up, you know **** all.

I've had more than "a few nights out in Hull" having lived and contract worked in Hull for over 2 years back in the 80's, I have nothing bit good memories of the people and pals I made up there. BP was my second home for 2 years being away from NP for that time.

BTW, if you can avoid the aggressive **** for a minute, is the Ideal Standard /Stelrad works still down National Avenue?

Haha ... I’m not angry in the slightest
Just pointing out that I don’t like whoever we play, that’s how it works. If we were playing Fulham I’d ‘hate’ them and hope to spoil their party too

Yeah Ideal Standard is still there. It’s the Bathroom Works now, but still Ideal Standard Company in the same place on National Ave

PS - I didn’t offer an opinion on Welsh people. I offered an opinion on the small number of Welsh people encountered while out in Cardiff. There were a lot I found horrible because they either wanted to act threatening because we were English or act ignorant by stopping speaking English when they realised we were English and start speaking Welsh instead.
I have had nights out in other parts of Wales such as Swansea and round the Mumbles and didn’t experience that.

I don't get most of this thread... Warnock is clearly a very good manager at this level, does that mean we can't dislike him?

He is clearly a very bitter man who gets very aggressive when he doesn't get his own way and rants every single time a slight refereeing decision goes against him.

Doesn't stop him being a good manager. But I don't like the bloke he could be as good as Guardiola I still wouldn't like the bloke. I hope Cardiff don't go up because of him quite simply, doesn't mean I hate Cardiff I have very little feeling towards them.

If you encountered any Welsh speakers in Cardiff pal, you were unfortunate, they're rarer that dragon **** in the capital. If you'd said Somali or Urdu then it would have more credence......<laugh><laugh>

Good to hear the Ideal Standard place is still there - spent a lot of time doing contract work on new installation techno. If I remember correctly, most (if not all) the sanitaryware was slip cast in plaster moulds which sucked the water out and took overnight to set before the moulds could be broken down for re-use.

I remember being involved with some new machinery being installed in the 80's which pressure cast the pottery in a few minutes drawing the water out of the slip under pressure to cast a washbasin in about 30 minutes instead of 24 hours.

Sorry for the rambling about old times......<laugh><ok>

To be fair thinking about it, the two particular occasions I’m thinking of were rugby internationals...and you lost them both
Maybe the pains in the arse that I encountered might have been sulking Welsh visitors to the capital

...so maybe I was generalising about hating all the Welsh! ;)

Feel free to ramble, but while I’ve been in Ideal Standard plenty of times I’ve no idea about the actual processes used to be honest

Since you mention Guardiola, I'd say Warnock is quite like Mourinho. Completely nuts, thinks all the officials are biased against him and makes his bold claims in that grinning way as if they're an already established fact, although Jose would do it without the grin. In both cases they generally make a tit of themselves but are entertaining to listen to their meltdowns.

One other hugely disagreeable thing about Warnock is that time he commissioned Sean Derry to injure Windass. He was playing quite well until his game was ended by a big gash in his leg caused by Derry. Windass was certain that Warnock had instructed him to do it to take him out of the game and was going mental at Warnock as he limped off. Hard to imagine that was a one off in his career.

It's a big accusation that someone has sent another player out to injure, it really needs corroboration though otherwise it just ends up sounding defamatory.

Neil Warnock only wants promotion for Neil Warnock.

The fact he's currently managing Cardiff City is irrelevant to him.

I think all managers are like that, Marco Silva was possibly the most self centered ambitious manager City have ever had, shame we couldn’t have kept him

I'm not saying that didnt happen mate, but I find it really surprising. Most people who come to Cardiff on nights out tend to come again due to great hospitality.

    Fair enough
I did say after that post that those events both happened after rugby internationals so maybe aren’t representative (although one was the day after when I was with my wife)

I agree with you there, when I was last in Cardiff for a weekend I had a cracking time. Then again that was on a navy ship and nothing to do with a sporting event.
