Kasper Schmeichel is still a doubt but Daniel Amartey could return as could Shinji Okazaki. Vincete Iborra and Matty James are out for the rest of the season. Claude Puel has spoken about giving Robert Huth a farewell game but that will probably come in the West Ham or Arsenal games. Seems the players aren’t GK - not bothered RB - Albrighton CB - Hughes and Knight LB - Chilwell CM - Choudhury and Silva RW - G Thomas CAM - Diabate/Gray LW - Barnes St - Vardy **** it and play the kids who have done so well imo. At least we might see some effort

My selection was somewhat tounge in cheek given the lack of performances from the first team. That is obviously a decision for first and youth team management regarding the game on Friday. Personally as a supporter I’d quite like to see some of the successful u23’s have a game or two now we’ve not got much to play for. Maybe not to the extent I’d put above and maybe not this Friday but I’d really like to see more of Choudhury and Barnes and see Hughes be given a run out at least before the end of the season

Agree, the u23’s lost as well so seems their season is over now. I wouldn’t overload the first team with the kids but as well as Barnes and Choudhury I’d like to see Hughes given a chance. Seems to be a weapon from set pieces. Could try something like Schmeichel Dragovic Hughes Maguire Albrighton. Chilwell Silva Choudhury Ndidi Barnes/Diabate Vardy Albrighton and Chilwell have natural wing back traits and Hughes and Choudhury shouldn’t be too exposed as part of a three in their respective positions
