Jesus. What a start to the game! Arsenal came close a couple of times, then the Madrid RB got 2 Yellows in the first 9 minutes! Simeone and his staff went mental, they then went mental again when Arsenal made a foul, and Simeone has been sent to the stands! 13 minutes gone!

    Insane start!

Huge opportunity for Arsenal. They have have to take advantage and win by at least two goals. At least.!

Oh dear 80+ minutes at home and they chuck it away for a draw, some how I can't see Athletico being so charitable on their patch.

    Bah!

So the FA are in negotiations to sell Wembley (which was built with a HUGE amount of Taxpayers money) to an American for £900!!! <yikes>
Shahid Khan deal with FA could be completed in eight weeks.

I really hope Southgate doesn't subscribe to this squit. There is no justifiable reason for a keeper so washed up as Hart to go to the world cup. His experience is of frequent rickets and failure on the bigger stage. Pope should be in on merit, or perhaps an up n comer who has also out performed Hart, like Angus. Taking Hart would be a total waste of a space.

    Bah!

I KNOW you're not alone in thinking this!!!!

From today's presser - "Farke thinks all those changes and not being in serious danger of the drop, means he can live with the midtable season Norwich have had" #faircomment

More from the presser - 'More pragmatic stuff now. Farke says he has Hernandez back and & Cantwell comes in next season - but strengthening his attacking options, given the loss of Wes and maybe others, will be a big thing.

    They’ll look for “smart solutions”!!'
FML - I'm guessing that translates to "scouring the 2nd and 3rd divisions of German football" <laugh>

Yea, pretty much. I think when we do bring in another 4th Division German, it will probably only be 1 striker. To be him and Srbeny. I expect Nelson to be forced out. We have needed strikers for so many windows, all we seem to do is bring in a young, untested, not ready striker. and let go the only proper strikers we have. I'm not banking on us focusing on finally sorting out our striker problems.

If they really want to regain the fan belief and excitement. To make sure people who are doubtful and worried think twice. Sign 2 strikers first and early. Present that they have found and confirmed a couple of new strikers that they had been monitoring all season.

That's the easiest and best way to turn the heads of the fans who are feeling pretty lost at the moment.

Just MAYBE FML, (listen from about 3min 45) the 'penny has FINALLY dropped' for DF and he has seen the need to bring in QUALITY to convert more of the chances we're creating!!! #notholdingmybreath

So Sunderland take the lead against promotion chasing Fulham!!!

In other news Naismith and Lafferty playing for Hearts against Aberdeen.
Edit - McClean with the assist for Aberdeen's 2nd goal. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Fulham leading 2-1, which means Sunderland are relegated.

Hmm JM, they were already relegated as Burton and Brum play each other so one would guarantee to finish higher. But Sunderland will now finish
    rock bottom of the championship.

The pedant in me suggests Sunderland could still have survived if they won both games, and Barnsley and Burton (who play Bolton, not Brum) failed to get more than a point each.

Still, they didn't, so Bon Voyage! <ok>

Edit! Please note - this is absolute bollocks! <laugh><ok>

Celtic could be 3 or 4 up at the half hour mark. Pretty sad to see. This could be a walloping!

Like with PSG, Wolves and Man City. If you have all the money, then obviously there is no contest to observe.

Every Rangers player looked awful, but Dorrans kept giving the ball away, and Russell Looks panicked.
