Yes, on the Red Roses album. A fine track. For me, this was the best thing on that album...

I've wondered how much Shane was influenced by another London band of the late 70's, the 4" Be 2"s use of traditional Irish music. Stuff like this...

I knew these boys pretty well in those days and played with bands who played with them. Truly crazy times.

Like Ms Morissette, you also don't appear to understand
the word "ironic" (Ed Byrne may work your comment into
a future update of this routine) . :)

Now, now fella, you don't go comparing people to Alanis Morrisette lightly. Were you really on the welcoming committee, it would be ironic to be unwelcoming by criticising someone's first post. None of that happened, but that was my "joke". You'd be on safer ground saying I don't get the word "funny" cause none of this was.

I didn't. And neither did Ed Byrne.
    Isn't that ironic (don't you think) ... ??

Before there was Punk Rock, there was The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Tomorrow Belongs To Me was the first album I bought with my own money. Great stuff.

My older brother was heavily into the Blues revival thing...so I couldn't be [outwardly], just as I had to physically drag him to see The Clash, which he never stops going on about "Of course, when I saw The Clash....".

Top stuff though, . I saw Wilko play with The Blockheads a few times and am off to see Eddie and The Hot Rods at least twice this summer and he dragged me to see them. So, I guess all's fair....Paul Gray was 16 when this was filmed.
