About 30,000 I believe. Not bad for a smallish club that's had a dreadful season, especially considering it was a only semi final.

    44,000 in 2010 for the JPT <ok>

There is no such thing as the Chelsea and Fulham borough. No such borough exists.

For administration purposes, Greater London is divided int boroughs, of which Hammersmith and Fulham is one, and Kensington and Chelsea is another.

Chelsea and Fulham, it appears, is a constituency (I didn't know that, I live in North London). It is not, as you stated, a borough.

I support the idea of the England team playing home games around the country. It will give fans from all over the UK a chance to watch them <ok>

We have things like trains and roads now, which apparently even reach as far as Sunderland. So people can travel to Wembley to watch England.

There might once have been a case for building the national stadium at Birmingham - but it's built now. And it's our national stadium ffs. Our national team might be ****, and our clubs are all owned by oligarchs, oil states and US hedge funds, but do we have to sell off every last fragment of our country's soul? What's for sale next? The House of Commons? Buckingham Palace? Westminster Abbey?

Yeah but for a family of 3 or 4 that will cost them a ****ing fortune to get a train to London from the North East. Don't see why the England national team can't travel round the UK and make it more accessible for fans to watch them play.

Don't get me started on Buck House either. Occupied by the biggest benefits scroungers in the country. We should charge the ****ers rent for living there.

I’d definitely move the friendlies around the country and the ****ing semis should never be at Wembley unless it’s two London teams possibly. Probably the qualifiers against the Macedonias and Scotlands too.

Semis should never be at Wembley full stop. It waters down the occasion for the final.

Fair. But then where would you play an Arsenal v Spurs semi? The one at Old Trafford was ludicrous.

I would happily stop subsidising the whole Royal Family, but that's not the point.

It just seems like everything in this country is up for sale to the highest bidder. When did wringing a quick buck out of everything become our only common value? What are the things that matter, that hold us together as a country?

I have no problem with England playing games at places like Old Trafford, the Stadium of Light or Villa Park btw. As in cricket, where Test Matches are held around the country.

But as a supporter of a small club that's been to four Cup Finals in the nearly 50 years I've been supporting them, I regard the occasional rare trip to Wembley as the pinnacle of my experience as a fan, and my birthright as an Englishman.
