Wembly to be sold?

There is no Chelsea and Fulham borough.

There is the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. And the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, which has no football team.

Fair enough. There are a lot of big grounds now around England to accommodate the finals now.

 

True, no reason to play all England games at Wembley now.

 

I'm not understanding with all the money around in the FA why we are selling our National Stadium?

It just seems they can do what they want without a whimper of a protest. Maybe people have given up caring suppose.

I think you have hit the nail on the head right there . Lots of people I know , just seem disinterested in most things at the moment . Weird , but noticeable.

I agree , but in general there just seems to be a lack of interest in almost anything .

 

Everyone is looking out for themself mate. The sale of Wembley is way down their list.

Not really mate, This sale of the new Wembley means very little to almost anyone. It stands for nothing.

I disagree. It's our national stadium ffs. It's the home of football. And, unlike the old Wembley, it's a pretty ****ing amazing venue. Went to the FA Cup final in 2003 at Cardiff and it just wasn't the same, at all, even though that is a pretty decent venue too.

Wembley, though, ffs. It's the stuff that dreams are made of. I know that everything has it's price in today's knock down, free market, get rich quick and **** the average punter Britain, but we should not let the powers that be sell our ****ing dreams.

Who knows - maybe Sunderland will get to play there one day

Maybe it's a bit tame if you support a **** club with no fans...

 

I don’t like it because it’s soulless IMO. Have a fantastic memory from our playoff win there but it’s a concert venue with a pitch in the middle.
