It would seem that way Potts yes. According the man himself, he has signed but the FA still have to rubber stamp it. I reckon we might get a confirmation from Stoke sometime tomorrow with it being official on Monday.
Wilson Yes deffo poor mans Kevin Francis (crouch) a deffo no he is rubbish i rather stoke would of bought Robbie Keen- that saying summat mind
Sgt I've been folling twitter, not sure why to be brutally honest. Maybe I'm just bored but it is interesting.. I found a report re Daily Express which say's along the lines of... Crouch is in the Spurs team today. Arry say's Wilson P is injured. But this tweet say's. " Palasios is NOW a Stoke player.. As does the Express and that Crouch is playing his last game for Spurs" Surly not???
The fact that Crouch is in the team today doesn't really mean anything. Nasri played against Liverpool for Arsenal on the Saturday but signed for Man City on the Monday so i'm not worried. I think Crouch will sign, not basing it on a lot, apart from the fact Palacios told Stoke fans last night that Crouch was signing as well.
I just knew I read it right last night Sgt Palacios GET IN there but I ain't seen pic of Wilson in a Stoke shirt yet so .. until then fingers crossed and Nasri trained with Arsenal Sgt I don't think he actually played v Liverpool or did he? Then, he signed for Citeh.. I will stand corrected of course.
Crouch is rubbish? is that what youre saying? I cant believe you have said that, god knows what you think about a lot of OUR players then. He would be a very good signing for stoke.....a proven goal scorer.........,oh wait we dont want them players.
Fair enough Sgt just listening to the game on five live we really should be at least one down... come on Tony tighten that defence up NOW!
Rockape, I would deffo we bought Heskey, can't score ,can't run - poor man's Kenwyne. You are a Villa fan are'nt you - in the Midlands league looks like yo will finish behind the mighty Potters , Wolves & WBA! Crouch is a lot of money if he signs, but he is better than what we have - there again Diao is better than what the Villa have!
Harry reckons Crouch is staying, but let's not forget he also said categorically that Spurs would not be signing anyone on that particular deadline day last summer and they then signed Van der Vaart, so forgive me Harry but I think you're telling a massive porkie. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,12874_7135729,00.html Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Wilson Palacios has undergone a medical at Stoke and has also revealed that he is uncertain over the future of striker Peter Crouch. The Honduras international midfielder has not played for Spurs this season and Redknapp confirmed the player is set to exit White Hart Lane. With the player poised to leave the North London outfit, Redknapp has revealed he is hoping to complete a move for West Ham's Scott Parker before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night. Stoke chairman Peter Coates confirmed the Potters were in discussions with Tottenham last week over the 27-year-old. It is understood that Palacios could move to the Britannia Stadium for a fee in the region of £8million. "Wilson Palacios is having a medical at Stoke," Redknapp said after Sunday's 5-1 defeat to Manchester City. Wage structure Crouch has also been linked with a move to the Potters, but Redknapp does not want to see the striker leave. City boss Tony Pulis refused to confirm whether Stoke were close to signing Tottenham pair, but he insisted that the club wage structure would not be broken. "I don't know what the latest situation is with Crouchy," Redknapp added. "People say we want to sell Crouch to Stoke and it's in the papers every day. Crouchy has to play under that. It's very difficult. "As far as I know he is staying." Meanwhile, Pulis said: "I've been told there is money available, that there is a pot of money, if I can find the right players. "There is money there and I'm just hoping and praying we can get players in who will help us again. "But the wage structure won't be broken. The basic wage at our club won't change."
