My original choice for the top four hasn't changed.

Man Utd.
Chelsea.
Man City.
Arsenal.

I'm gonna try and bring a bit of realism back...

I don't think we'll win the league. I think we've got a good chance of being in the top 4 but it's going to be difficult. I fully expect City, Chelsea and United to have the top 3 places... I just don't know what order!

So it will be a battle between Liverpool and Arsenal. I think everybody knows that Arsenal need players and i'll wait until after the transfer window to decide of Liverpool look good for top 4. If Arsenal don't address their issues (Centre-back, replacing Nasri and Fabregas and getting a striker to help Van Persie) I feel they will struggle to finish in the top 4. If they do address these issues, it will be a tight battle between Liverpool and Arsenal for 4th. I don't think Spurs have enough at the moment to challenge top 4.

 

See that's why I like them on here ^, just hate the ****ing club for taking our best players

Firstly - It doesn't sum me up

I think we will be pushing for top 4 but it won't be easy. Most pundits actually agree that our squad is now capable of pushing for top four. Your mate might be deluded but to put all Liverpool fans under the same name in itself is even more deluded.

Secondly - "rant over"

This statement alone suggests you're the one with the issue - having to have a rant about a squad and team that were on the brink of financial meltdown and have now turned a corner is pretty stupid. From what i have read your thread comes across like you're the one with the issue and your mate is being used as a scapegoat. It sounds to me like you watched MOTD and then made a ridiculous post because you saw a team you dislike play fantastic football.

Like Smudge said on here our fans generally get on - so making some stupid thread about one Liverpool fan and labeling it to all of us just makes you look a bit ****ing sad to be honest.

 

Not one fan on here that ive seen and not one fan ive spoke to thinks the title is ours. I know a couple that think we're in with a shout but the vast majority think top 4 is a realistic target (although most say even that won't be easy). I think all the recent drama at our club has actually humbled most fans to be honest

Not so keen on the club (they keep signing our best players damnit!) but I do not think I could ever bring myself to dislike a scouser! I have been to Anfield a few times and have had nothing but a warm welcome in there!

 

My wifes a Geordie and ive been to yours a number of times and had a great welcome.

I honestly DO think Liverpool will be challenging the top 3 this season. I have watched all your games and your getting better and better. Some of the link up play at pace yesterday was epic.

Thing i LIKE MOST OF ALL is that Andy Carroll does not even look like getting into the first 11 and I see him being an expensive flop. Suarez looks the real deal. Lucas, Adam and (I hate to say it) Henderson look like they have played together for years.

Now a lot of people are saying its a poor Bolton side...... Bollocks. They hammerred us last season and ok they have lost two good strikers in Elmander and Sturridge but at some times Liverpool destroyed them.

 

Man U will win the league then Chelsea,Man city and Arsenal if they can get the right players in. But it's to early to say as its just the start of the season

 

The attacking force of City is terrific and anyone who think's they don't have the squad to finish top 4 or even champions need their heads testing. Liverpool have bought good players but not world class players however saying that I think they have a much better team than Spurs and Arsenal.

 

Thats pretty much how I see this season panning out! Watched the game last night & Liverpool made Bolton look poor. Gutted seeing Carroll & Enrique in a red shirt though

If Liverpool play Carroll & Suarez up top together and the rest of the team resist the temptation to launch the ball to Carroll's head (he's very good with the ball at his feet) and use Downings as an out and out winger supplying crosses to Carroll as well as playing he ball on the deck to Suarez then I recon those two will be the most lethal partnership in the Prem this season! Sickening from a Newcastle supporters point of view considering we needed a new strike to partner Carroll but now have Offsideobi & Ba as our two main strikers, I ****ing despair
