This referee has possibly just become my favourite ever. By not following that stupid philosophy of "letting an early challenge go", the Madrid player rightly gets sent-off. With most refs, he'd (wrongly) still been on the pitch, because they'd have considered the first yellow to be too early to be a yellow. Bizarrely.

I know Aubameyang has been great for them, but if they had Europa aspirations, they really should have bought a striker who could actually play in Europe.
