Opinion from a Liverpool fan (Not NUFC related)

I know we're not fans of Liverpool over here so I'd thought I'd talk about this:

My mates a Liverpool fan, and he just said to me "I bet you £10 that Liverpool will finish on top winning the league. And Man City will fail at knocking the top four out of there comfort zone."

I replied "Who are the top four in your eyes?" (Expecting him to say Liverpool" He quickly shot back "You know who they are..!" I just said "Well, who do YOU think they are Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham?!" he quickly said "Yes them ofc" so I quickly reminded him "Man City finished third last season, knocking Arsenal down a peg and completely getting rid of Tottenhams chances of a top four finish " He said "well yes but, they're not the same team as then are they!" so I pointed out that they're pretty much unchanged apart from the master class of Aguero. He then blown off the conversation and told me he didn't care.

Sums them up. Sums up why I hate his and all the other Liverpool fans opinions I've ever heard. Get excited over a few signings and then think you'll win the league after a 3-1 win over a poor Bolton side. Ignoring Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City. It drives me nuts and I hate them with a passion.

As much as I should hate them (and I do dislike the club and the "King Kenny" stuff), I dont mind the fans on here tbh.

 

This is why im on here so much my mates dont like football so struggle to find anyone to have decent convo about NUFC. FFS at primary one of my mates Uncle bought him a Manure shirt he wore it one lol

Man city to win the league this year

 

Not spoke to them on here, but all the fans I've ever met and spoke to about they're club they've produced enough ****e to feed desperate african nations twice..

 

I think Liverpool will be in the top 4. Arsenal/Tottenham aren't quite there IMO

 

We've all got them though, I was talking to someone yesterday who thought we should have gotten 15 million for Barton.

 

Top 4? Yes.

Win the league? **** off.

 

I hope you took that bet by the way, not every day you get a tenner for free.

Liverpool being heavily supported in the outright market at 10/1. We get about half our profits every year from that bet!

With his age, baggage, and just a year on his deal, we'd have done well to get 4 mil for Barton though.

 

Oh no, definetly not the league. That will be in Manchester - not sure which team though...

 

I'm putting my vote to Chelsea, they're the underdog. So I think they'll surprise us all.

Possibly. Top 4 will be 2 Manchester teams and Chelsea then I think Liverpool will pinch 4th. Arsenal/Spurs will battle for 5th then everyone else will be nowhere near...
