The Tigers’ first team squad will take part in the traditional lap of the pitch at the end of Saturday’s final home game of the season to thank fans for their tremendous support over the last nine months.

Supporters are invited to remain in their seats at the conclusion of Saturday’s game against Cardiff City, with the players and Head Coach Nigel Adkins to head briefly down the tunnel before returning to the field.

Please note that this will only take place if the pitch remains clear. The safety of players, managers, fans and match officials is of paramount importance and supporters are asked to remain in the stands at all times.

Thank you for your continued support.

    Points deduction?

    Fine?

Mass brawl between players and fans?

    Squirrels getting trampled?

Enlighten me someone please for the love of God.

Man City had one, Bburn had one last night.....what was the death toll for those two pitch invasions?

Are fans allowed to stand up and applaud or should they remain seated at all times?

Don't want any of that there nonsense in Hull. Twins will be traumatised and unable to sleep.

When they mentioned it at Man City Guardiola just shrugged and said " I am comfortable with it."
Some people have more idea about what football means to supporters than others.

Why the hell would we invade the pitch after this torrid season?

There's a certain set of away fans who might understandably do so.

I don't have much against them , but when you have nothing to play for the next best thing is to ruin somebody else's day

I've not got much against them either to be fair but I do remember being chased through the streets of Cardiff by a bunch of their bloody headhunters back in the day.

(FWIW I wasn't and have never been in any way part of any so called "firms". City for me has always been about the footy not the trouble - I got into enough of that on my own time)

I suspect there will be not many stay behind, I was half expecting them to say "The players will do a lap of honour" thankfully they refrained from doing that.
