Where's the outrage today, haters ?? On here and in the media

After we chucked a few plastic cups and bottles of lucozade sport at City's coach it was nuclear

That was bad and unacceptable sure, but really nothing, just a bit of play biting in the scheme of things and in a world where you've got sickos pulling this **** travelling to countries and walking around a city with hammers, knives and belts and being there really for no other reason than to use them

It's one of the reasons that I'd rather avoid Italian teams even if they are perceived as 'easier' to beat than the Spanish or German sides. I'd rather the chances were taken on the pitch than outside the ground with their horrible fans - granted not all their fans are violent thugs but they don't come with labels on so you know which ones to avoid.

surely you want to know how these guys could gain free entry into an offical home fan zone area in effect right there and the police failed to do much of anything.

Roma plus local police should take blame here as they are unable to control these fans. Let’s just hope the bloke is okay?

If English fans did this at away games....

Roma will get charged, of course they will, its standard UEFA procedure.

Do you think Liverpool should take the blame for their muppet hooligan supporters who take flares and chuck stuff at the coach or should we just acknowledge it's their riffraff bunch of fans?

As you say, clubs have no say with the hooligans and also no say with Uefa.

My only gripe is that Uefa(like the FA)are inconsistent with their punishment for the same issues.

But that's it Bobby, they should take the blame, otherwise why should other clubs accept punishment for similar acts of violence.
It's like, if Liverpool weren't playing Roma last night the man who was attacked would be okay, can't remember off hand whether Galatasary got punished when the two Leeds lads were murdered in Istanbul, but I have a feeling Uefa said at the time because it happened outside the ground area it was out of their jurisdiction.

They need to be more consistent.

maybe theres a misunderstanding between what me you and pjs are saying.

UEFA will be forced to take action is it is football related.

In my mind, these are just hooligans and they should be dealt with strongly (which generally doesn't happen) and it's nothing that the club can control.

UEFA will blame Roma as they need to be seen to doing something and so Roma will take the blame.

However, every football fan knows (unless the club are actively recruiting/training/directing these fans) that this is football hooliganism and can barely be blamed against the club.

I've interpreted PJs as his own view personally blaming Roma because he's included the police (which UEFA can't do anything about and won't get blamed) which is why i disagree with him as Roma can't do anything about it's fans going mental. Likewise the same with your club, or my club or everton as a club

The police were partly responsible for allowing the City coach to be attacked/damaged. The police know the reputation of travelling fans, why not pick as many up as possible, get them to the ground.

In th ground it’s down to the club, Everton fans being banned by the club and charged by the police.

This is the point isn't it?
They claim to be passionate "supporters" but I'm sure they have no more than a passing interest in football.
It's just an excuse for the murderous actions that they can't get away with elsewhere. They shouldn't be treated like football fans gone a bit crazy, but as the organised and determined sociopaths that they obviously are.

Suppose it's different for Londoners like Bobby to think in smaller city terms, John Lennon Airport is tiny in comparison to Gatwick, Heathrow etc, it was far easier for Merseyside Police to keep the Roma fans together and bus them to a neutral area until the game started.
I remember the same thing happening when we played Napoli a few years back, they brought more fans than had tickets, so a few hundred of the ****ers went on a rampage around Goodison/County Rd while the game was on, they beat up anyone who got in their way and attacked a couple of pubs and caused **** around Anfield, thought our local coppers would have learned from allowing ferel Italians to roam our streets.

Definitely different in london. The airports are ****ing far the from the centre and theres so many people. Never really thought about smaller city terms really

In any case, the police should take responsibility (they won't). I don't think i've mentioned there at all, only about Roma

JLA is in the middle of nowhere, about a mile from the main road, 6 miles from the city centre, that's why it's easy for the police to control incoming foreign football fans.
They must have just said "ah **** it, let them do their thing while we have another cup of tea".<laugh>

Fake statement from a fake manager.

"I'm an England manager who could win a World Cup - Neville

Phil Neville says managing the England women's team is the "best thing" he's ever done, and says the Lionesses could win the next World Cup."

Saying anything less about the Women's team would see you hung drawn and quartered for sexism ;)

Look at what happened John McEnroe, asked about Serena Williams, he said best female player ever, female reporter asked just "why not best player", McEnroe said cos she'd be way down the ranks on the mens tour, women only play 3 sets, men play 5 too.

    The libtards had a fit.

What Neville is doing is gushing, beta male moron
