Having had a great uncle that was a prisoner of the Japanese, I'm 100% certain he'd describe it as 'The Hiroshima Payback.' That is all.
O/T but i find the whole Japan thing fascinating. Now we’re big pals with ‘em and the place has a unique glamour and otherwordy attraction while we view the Chinese as almost entirely suspiciously. Wind back just 50 or 60 years and it couldnt have been more different. Weird innit?
O/T Japan has been slowing down for years, whilst South Korea booms, Samsung, LG, Hyundai etc. Whilst China and Korea race to globalise, I agree, Japan could become the more interesting, sedate far east destination to visit in years to come.
70 years ago the Japanese were murdering 20 million Chinese. And, unlike the Germans have never apologised for their crimes.
Whilst we apologise all the time, for everything, sorry, sorry, sorry, we give an annual apology to our commonwealth!!
They were there or are they just going off what the Liverpool (it’s never our fault) supporters told them?
Will Liverpool supporters be visiting Rome with the same trepidation England fans will have going to Russia?
