Had chicken thighs in a creamy leek and mustard sauce. Few roast potatoes with it.

I hope you give the roasted Spuds names, like Alli, Kane, Poch and Christian.

They're good when they're in season, but from April onwards they're awful.

Bought a goulash kit from Lidl, £5 and loads in it.
Bought some pork shoulder and chucked some stuff in a pan with the goulash stuff and I'm leaving it for about 5 hours.

Literally just met and had a chat with him. Told him I know exactly where I was when he scored the winner v Real Madrid.

Which I do. Out in a Manc street on me bike.

Nice bloke with some really good stories. Imagine what it was like in that dressing room!

    Food was ok too. Ish.

Great player at a great time in our history, fair play there's a few Mancs on here who just like footy and can see beyond rivalries. <cheers>

This worked incredibly well. You could season the pork and fry off, you could soften the onion and peppers.
It really doesn't matter when it's all in a pot for 5 hours. I threw the whole lot in and covered with water. At times we've become too influenced by the celeb chefs.

Had a top notch eat all you like breakfast. It was in a kitchen and bathroom showroom canteen.

Amazing what you can find. It was up there with the best. Had about half a pig, and loads of eggs. Plus everything else.

    Chunky chips.

Obviously fried onion, mushroom and peppers on top

But steak and chips is hard to beat
