Whilst I hate to be negative, I think that’s a big ask. If Fulham win on Friday night I think the pressure will be too much...
Cannot believe our tactics 2nd half. Half time couldn’t come quick enough for Derby. Game was in the bag if the team did what they’ve done all season and not let a half time lead slip but they just pressed the self destruct button. Too many players had shockers. No composure. All their goals were gifted; nothing earned just parks defending. Referee was appalling letting Derby players off and missing a stonewall penalty again. Nothing dropped for City again whereas it did for an average team made to look good. Sickening especially as half that team were injured when the game should have been played. Can’t imagine what team he’ll pick at Hull. It’ll be a few days hard training now as they’ve got to get that out of their system and quickly. Gutting beyond belief; virtually one foot in the Premier league but now the pressure could be too great for City.
First time responding to the Cardiff board. Just bought my first season ticket for city next season! Tonight was a free hit. We win great! We draw, still second! We lose, still second! Derby had to win to keep there play offs alive. Warnock treated the game as that by the team he selected. No doubt he's picked Hull as the must win. And if we can go to Norwich and win 2-0 the it can be done the same against Hull.
We were yet took the lead and if Gazza Madine bagged the second it's a different game. Dreadful decision making for the goals as well. Bring back Zahore, Grujic and Mendez Lang and we will be fine.
