That's what brings so many negative comments because the writer/s know it will wind people up, but you must admit it's a dam stupid idea and as someone said earlier just like the dumb idea with the new badge.
Surely it's time Radz started engaging his brain a bit more.

I support the club, but as the recent gaggle of vile owners over 10-20 years has demonstrated, the owner is not the club.

Rad has got this wrong, if he’s doing it for money reasons as well (I don’t know but it’s been suggested) shame on him. By the way, it also means fewer Leeds fans can go than if he’d picked somewhere more accessible so that’s another reason it’s a bad decision,

I do honestly think he's thinking of the bottom line in this one.

Afraid you could be right on this one. All business men think about the bottom line, but should also weigh up the cost of getting there, not just in monetary value.

This is yet another foot right in the mouth cock up, but worse than the badge fiasco because this gives legitimacy to people who should be behind bars at the Hague. On a par with May declaring a Stephen Lawrence day every year

I get the impression rightly or wrongly from your response that you also think it is a mistake.
Accept criticism of the management when that criticism is correct reject if it is not.
On most occassions that's what I always try to do.(notice I said management and not LU)

While I don't claim to be an expert on Myanmar,I will state one thing, there is every religion going in Myanmar, but the vast majority are Buddists, now they only have a problem with one religion,no problems with any others, the only one they have had enough of,is the one who have been chopping Buddist heads off.

    It's

I disagree and think there is some well meaning but unintended hypocrisy going on in this discussion.

For a starter I'll declare that I've been to Myanmar and liked the people and the place and will say it's very unlikely to be an unsafe place for any visitors/supporters who go.

Ethically it gets murky but then that's where the hypocrisy creeps in: we're not going as guests of the government and football and tourists and supporters all have to accept that we've endorsed evil - teams with Qatar, Emirates, Garuda Indonesia on their shirt - all partly government owned airlines and all governments with pretty shocking human rights. Ditto anyone watching any games from the world cup in Russia.

But before we go on the moral high horse we probably need to get our own house in order first. Selling arms to Saudi Arabia that are used in Yemen, illegal war in Iraq etc etc

Anyone on this thread bought anything from M&S lately? You've endorsed evil I'm afraid https://interactivemap.marksandspencer.com/?parentFolderPiD=56c35b7572529b0698191e2b

Myanmar is a lovely but very troubled country and why are we going? Def for money and untapped market and that involves getting into murky territories whether it's as a football club, as tourists or shoppers.

She is both. was under house arrest and won the NPP.
As usual once in power she proved to be every bit as much an oppressor as the previous regime.

You know what they say absolute power....

Last paragraph says it all, but all the LU critics are starting to have a field day do we have to continue to give them ammunition.
Would not surprise me if Radz did not get some investment money out of this.
