It suggests they have/had people on their side with fiscal power to ensure powerul foreign support for the existence and belligerent nature of their torah promised state.

2. Gospels dictated by the Roman Empire.

Well we're looking at this from several POV

(a) the Christian POV in which Jesus died for the sins of mankind
(b) the Jewish POV in which Jesus was a prophet but not the Messiah
(c) the Roman POV in which Jesus was a troublemaker against the Empire
