I guess AP knows it's a waste of time trying to talk to dickhead... https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...m-eyeing-sunderland-purchase-report-1-9131759 It's going to be a long summer. Surely someone is waiting in the wings to end the misery.
I doubt the club was ever really up for sale. Once the last parachute payment is taken it will be administration.hope Nigel is right and I am wrong.
Nope. After last parachute payment is in, there is an agreement to sell the club to Jamie Waltham for £1 and for West Park to be turned into a traveller camp, netting him £20k per week.
James Smailes @James_Smailes Hull FC owner Adam Pearson has been linked with a possible takeover of Sunderland. My info is Pearson's consortium is no longer involved and his own involvement has ended.
Apologies if it’s already been asked, but when exactly does boy wonder get his hands on the final parachute payment? Is it at the end of this season (i.e. in a couple of weeks), or at the start of next season, or in instalments over the course of next season. I’m just trying to judge if there’s light at the end of the tunnel, or if the slow painful death is likely to continue for the foreseeable.
I believe it's paid in installments, one lump at the start of the season, then one or two further payments for the balance through the season.
Bugger! Another season of ****e from that pair of ****ers. Mind you, I believe what goes around comes around so he'll get his dollop of ****e one day I'm sure.
https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...o-longer-involved-in-takeover-talks-1-9132343 If he has spare time on his hands what's to stop him coming here to sort this mess out?
As soon as the parachute payments stop, we'll be a club that relies solely on gate money and transfer fees to survive. Unless there's further investment from the current (ha) or new owners.
If, big if, were a debt free club then that's all we can ask for. Let the next mug spend millions of his own money
We won't be debt free for very long though Chazz, not with this pair of idiots in control and the dwindling attendances that they're creating.
Once they've syphoned the parachute payments and sold our best players, what kind of price could they expect? HCAFC needs to be a Championship club at least upon sale but you can't expect this with no investment - Adkins has done well but it's a risky strategy
