    Nope.

A decent season for Spurs but you've hit the ceiling under Levy.

  4. Rubbish!

    This season was ear-marked as a write-off.

The fact that we've been able to maintain our top 4 credentials (assuming that we manage to hold on to the end of the season) in spite of the fact that we have had to play all of our home games at Wembley, is a stunning testament to just how strong we are as a squad and a club.

In the wake of the new stadium being completed, we will grow stronger.

That money won't be invested in the squad it will fall into Levy's pocket.

We, including a lot of spuds, know that under Levy it's exceptionally difficult for Spurs to win the league (or a semi-final).

He won't invest to the level you need to regularly challenge.

You keep bobbing around 2-4 which is the ceiling.

I can't remember anyone thinking Liverpool would challenge for the title?

Before the season started it seemed most thought it would be a straight shoot out between the Manchester clubs, with a few others going with Chelsea.

The fact we're likely to get top 4 and a minimum of semi finalists in the CL isn't too bad. Not great admittedly. To turn our season great we have to win the CL. Probably won't happen but either way it's been a better season than most expected.

Can't remember anyone thinking we'd be challenging for the title though ?

Levy makes money for ENIC. He's in it for himself and Joe Lewis, it is an investment company that seeks a healthy return and they have a stake in several football clubs and media businesses. Levy has already seen fit to award himself a 100% pay rise despite the Spuds winning **** all yet again. He ain't investing any of those profits back into Spurs.

  8. He built a brand new youth Academy two years ago, and he's just putting the finishing touches on a new stadium that is costing not much shy of £1 Billion.
    <doh>

Only for the last two seasons. This will be the third in a row, proving to the World that we are consolidating our top 4 credentials (just as Arsenal are consolidating their Europey league credentials, now).

We are building a foundation from which we will grow even stronger.

  9. That's how it's panned out, mostly.

Except for the bit about Chelsea.

    This <ok>

Nobody really gave Liverpool a chance this season. They have been the most exciting club tbh. Okay City have stormed the league, but given what they spent, it would have been a ****ing travesty if they didnt' really. Liverpool's defence has cost them points and they could have mounted a serious challenge if they'd sorted that earlier in the season.

As for Spurs. All we heard was that Pooch was going to finally lead them to glory and go one better than his 2nd place finish and FA cup semi final and they have choked once again :)

  12. None of us fans begrudge him a pay-rise, Pix.

You seem particularly bitter and rattled about this. Why?

If Levy earned half the money that you pay your work-shy bunch of shysters, then you'd have something to bleat about.

    How much is Woe-zil on?

So nothing short of winning the title within the next couple of years will be considered a success then as you're "consolidating" your top 4 credentials right now.

How long until Spurs win the title and will Kane still be there?

    Yup.

It's a real shame that some of the younger more gullible fans can't see this.

    Bless them!

Beware! Pixie's coming in for a major rimming, Bro.

And they've been proven right, you muppet!
    <doh>

Remind us all - how many points behind City are 'Pool?

    No, we didn't.

All we heard, was you Gooners boring us all with your third-rate wummery about how "the Wembley hoodoo" would turn us into a laughingstock.

    You ****ed up, mate.

    Again!

    ^^^^ rattled

If you'd read my comment, you would have seen that I said 'apart from City'

You jumped in with that angry little comment because you're still reeling from Spurs ****ing it up once again, aren't you ? :)

  20. Every fan base has its idiot contingent. Being an Arsenal fan, you will know that better than the rest of us, Pix.

There are some Spurs fans who want rid of Poch. I don't believe that they even support Spurs; I think it's the likes of CFC ringing in on the wum.
