31st Aug - Ocean swell will arrive, the hurricane will probably only manifest as 20mph winds for the UK

Probably just a bit windy and unpleasant, nothing compared to the strength it is at the moment (obviously).

This is a category 1 storm ffs! A much bigger storm inflicted the Philippines recently, causing far greater devastation and maelstrom. It's only because it's in the US, is well reported and makes for 'easy' TV because of it.

 

I think our media mistakenly believe we all actually care more about USA than other foreign countries.

 

Wow here's a newsflash...America is bigger and better than you! As I recall, you would be speaking German if it wasn't for us. We save you in every war. We give you quality television and music. We give you everything and in return your Prime Minister does whatever we want. It's a good relationship. The moment we leave, you have no chance.
