Been the better apart from the first half, so that means evens? Both teams were similar. One half chance in the 2nd half. United took it.
If there was any justice in the game, 4 teams should be relegated from the PL this year and replaced by Villa, Fulham and Cardiff. As it is, one or possibly two of those clubs could miss out. I am very wary of Boro having slipped quietly into the play.off positions at the right time and are likely to have lots of energy going into them, whereas two of the other three will have to build momentum.
How is a 7th placed team just so inferior to numero uno in La Liga? In real terms, the teams in La Liga outside Atlético, Real and Barcelona are just not in the same league. I suppose the same applies here, The 7th place team might be close to Arsenal in terms of points but if Arsenal applied themselves there would have been a points gap of 10 or 15 points, such is the gulf that has emerged in the PL and La Liga.
I wonder if the Wolves fan base has grown this season? Back in their heyday 60,000 would attend matches at Molineux so in theory they have a big fan base, that might even match Villa´s in that part of the world. Could the likes of Wolves and Newcastle, though, ever break through that barrier separating the top 6 and the rest? Perhaps it is good that these well supported clubs are in the PL, and along with Everton, could shatter the established order.
Performing bear as entertainment at a Russian match........not good IMO. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43783325
Why on earth would the FA be trolling Harry Kane? I'm speechless. Who on earth is in-charge of that account? The Football Association has apologised for a tweet from its FA Cup account which mocked Tottenham striker Harry Kane after Saturday's 2-1 semi-final defeat by Manchester United. The message asked United defender Chris Smalling "What's in your pocket?" and included a short clip of him saying, "Harry Kane". Christ, at least wait till after the bloody World Cup, morons.
