Yep, and his freezing out of players due to contractual situations is pretty poor too. Let the chairman deal with that side of things. just pick the best 11 players.

 

Don't listen to that raving nut sack Stan D man Ancelotti would be a great choice. A proven winner all over Europe, although Levy is your problem and not the manager. In all honesty Spurs were ready to go to the next level and needed two marquee signings which would have seen them pushing City all the way. Instead like us you got cast off's whilst Danny gave himself a 100% pay rise.

You're partly right but it's Poch that froze out Walker last year and has done the same with Toby this year.

 

I was surprised he didn't bring Wanyama on much earlier. Like, at half time. Would have stopped you getting overrun in midfield.

 

he doesn't do half time subs. always leaves them until it's too late

 

That was the one criticism of him at Saints; no plan B, if plan A isn't working.

I still think he's an excellent manager, that aside. Your players looked tired.

I can understand that but while Spurs are paying them, Poch should be playing them.

I'm sure that if I were in Toby's shoes, at his age, i'd want my next contract (any contract, tbh) to pay me what i'm worth in comparison to other players in my position. And since someone like VVD is getting more than 3 times what Toby is on, i'd say he's entitled to demand more than that. he shouldn't be frozen out for doing what anyone who knows their true worth would do. Toby hasn't gone on strike and is entitled to run down his contract if he wants to.

 

There'll be some that will want to play in the new stadium but only for another season. Sissoko will have to be dragged out of the club kicking and screaming.

 

It's the Spurs way with Danny at the helm.
