Sunderland to shut Premier Concourse next season in bid to boost Stadium of Light atmosphere Read more at: https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...o-boost-stadium-of-light-atmosphere-1-9055578 This is what happens when you have a big stadium and a ****ing **** team and a **** off an owner.
What is it, about nine games left to save yourselves and four points adrift? So will your ground be too big for you now once all the plastics fook off
We'll get a couple of seasons down there. Next season will just be consolidating the club with new owners hopefully. I'd fully expect to bounce back the season after, though. I still have a feeling we'll go into administration and start -10 next season.
Wouldn’t surprise me. You’re £100m+in debt and even in Short gives the club away who’s going to want to take on that debt for a League 1 club? You won’t be able to service that debt in League 1 and so you could well be forced into administration and he could just walk away. Sad times for Mackems
Got to say that I find the situation is really sad. A club like that in the 3rd tier is utterly ridiculous, especially with the support they have. Rank bad management imo. Really hope they bounce back soon.
I couldn't make out why mathematically Sunderland were relegated. Just realised Bolton and Burton play one another, so whatever the result of that game puts Sunderland down.
