No but I would be shocked if Spurs won. They aren't as good as Utd and they don't have the experience Utd have, both on the pitch and in the dugout. Couldn't believe they were 3/1 to win before the game, people buying into the media Spurs bullshit.
Spurs playing at the temporary home helps. Beat them at Wembley a couple of months back. Went further in the champs league. Beat them in the league last year. Playing at a temp ground and still top 4. Anything else I’ve missed to show up your half wittery?
What? They’re fourth in the league and they battered United the last time they played them there. I think it’s marginally more likely that United win, but this sounds rooted more in a dislike of Spurs than reality?
Are you Ides? Wow they beat them once, and also beat them last year?!?!? Jesus what a fool I have been. They are still top 4, we shall see if they end up there as it is not certain, but still top 4 behind Utd. Went further in a cup competition big deal. If Spurs are so good why haven't they won anything? Utd have won 2 trophies in the last 2 seasons to Spurs 0, despite the media and certain ill informed fans buying into them being some all conquering awesome team and Utd suddenly being **** and clueless under Mourinho.
No I actually dislike both pretty equally. I just haven't got the recent love in for Spurs, sure they play good football which is nice to watch but when it comes down to it they aren't as good as the top clubs, despite winning the odd game against them. Will they get there, probably, if they can keep their young squad together and they grow but as we know that is hard to do. I mentioned it over on the PL board but I could quite easily see Chelsea finishing 4th and winning the FA Cup this year and Conte getting sacked and people laughing about it, whilst Poch fininshes 5th, wins nothing and people talk about him as one of the best about.
This is just really weird. Nobody is saying Spurs are the greatest team in the world, but they’re a very good team (with significantly less resources than the likes of United). They’ve not had their best season, but to make statements like “United were only ever winning it” at 1-1, in a half where Spurs have edged it. That’s just bizarre!
You’re not comparing apples with apples though. Spurs for me are a slightly better resourced version of the team we could have become. Pochettino is a superb manager, there just isn’t any doubt about that. In terms of resources - net spend/wages - they’re a massive underdog.
No, you’ve got some deep rooted pathetic hate. Your spurs are over rated comment proved it. A team that have broken the top 4 and have stayed there. You joker
Phil Neville really is a pillock. I quote him: "Valencia goes in with a scissor challenge, both feet off the ground. I feel yellow is the correct decision".
Underdog yes, and they have done a very good job of building a talented squad for relatively cheap. But all I see from the media is how incredible they are and up there with the top top clubs who, as you say, far out resource them. They aren’t and they actually need to start winning stuff to be compared. Atm they are punching above their weight, which is admirable but no more than that for me. Plus they are Spurs so are ****s
Raineri has won the PL. Sven has won countless trophies. Would you rather have them in charge of Saints than Poch? C’mon! They are up with the top teams - they have consistently been top four recently. Above Arsenal too for the past two seasons, yet I’m sure you consider Arsenal a ‘top team’. I think your last sentence gives us your true motivations!
