I'm pretty sure Chelsea will be trying a bit harder to win this game than they did last Saturday. Having said that 2-1 the Saints.
SiS: Hi Mark - sorry I didn't get in touch yesterday. Celebrated your first point a bit hard. (Tia Maria was a bad choice!) Mark: don't worry SiS, had a few myself (but Tia Maria? what were you thinking?) SiS: not much by midnight Mark! Still onwards and upwards! Got the team sorted for Sunday? Mark: you know me SiS, been hard at it. Got at least one big surprise lined up! SiS: The forums right behind all out attack. Reckon we'll win 10-9! Mark: yes I've read a few of those comments, what a bunch of plonkers! we'd be annihilated 10-0! SiS: I know, I have to read their meanderings every week! So, defensive then? but surely not 3 centre backs again? You know my opinion of centre backs! Mark: Yes I do SiS, you're the biggest plonker of them all!!! AND DON'T CALL ME SURELY! SiS: sorry mate. So what's the big surprise then? Mark: 4 centre backs! SiS: good grief SiS: um .... but we've only got 3 (Florin's out on loan and Stephens is banned) Mark: I'm bringing Will Woods in from the U21s SiS: good call, didn't think of that! So what's the game plan then? Mark: penalties! SiS: I'll get another bottle of Tia Maria! Speak again on Tuesday. Mark: cheers SiS!
I don’t really care who wins today (actually would prefer Spuds) but watching it makes me excited for the occasion, if not the match, tomorrow!
Going to be a very interesting game tomorrow, as relatively speaking all the pressure (and expectation) will be on them, and it’s likely a blessed relief for our players to be able to go out without that black cloud over them. Think it’ll be a lot closer than many might suspect.
