    Mind you . Her voice when talking was not my favourite , first saw her interviewed YEARS ago might have been multi coloured swap shop , to win something of hers ( I think ) , the person had to answer " How long is the Brooklyn bridge in Metres " . The way she said Metres just cut straight through me .

    Outrageous Frontman of influential Garage Rock/ Proto Punk band, The Stooges, Iggy Pop turns 71 today having been born James Osterberg Jr. in Muskegon, Michigan in 1947. He has worked with a string of other artists as well as a Solo career and is a Singer/Songwriter and Musician Producer and Actor..

    The Pistols covered this one of course...

    Jasper is correct. Luther went huge and then lost loads quickly.,, possibly part of his heart issues.

    We honoured the great Glen Campbell on the day of his passing last year. He was born on this day on this day in Billstown, Arkansas in 1936.

    He was a virtuoso Guitarist as proved here...

    Let us all salute the Captain...Sensible, that is. Many Happy Returns to Punk hero, Ray Burns who turns 64 today having been born in Balham, South London in 1954.
    He made his name playing Bass for The Damned and later Lead Guitar and Keyboards as well as co-songwriting after Brian James left. He has had a Solo career and currently is playing Bass and co-songwriting for Supergroup, The Jack Tars along with Mike Peters of The Alarm among others.
