    If we're going to win this and keep the possibility alive, lets hope we're 3-0 going into the closing minutes. If it's only 1-0, you just know what will happen in the 95th minute.

    Just saying on twitter, anybody else got the feeling we're contractually obliged to play Fletcher if he's fit? We know we spent no money and Boro will have known how desperate they were, easy way to blag guaranteed game time for their player.

    I can't see any other reason why he'd be on the pitch

    He's awful. I think he's scored something like 2 goals in 60 odd games. Shocking statistic.


    Edit: I was quite a way off there. Fletcher has scored 2 goals in 45 games for West Ham, Boro and Sunderland.

    I said the same a couple of months ago Brian. Maja and Assoro are both better than Fletcher so must be well hacked off having to play second fiddle to a Smoggie player <doh>
