Harry has opened him mouth again- speaking the truth this time. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...knapp:-samir-nasri-motivated-by-money?cc=3436
It's clear the mercenary little twat went to City for the money. As Harry points out, they have such a huge squad that no way is he even guaranteed a place in the starting eleven. He would probably have been a pretty regular starter for Utd, had he gone there, but he chose City. So, methinks Mr Nasri doth protest too much!
I'm sorry but this is not what you want to hear from your manager. i.e. How strong Man C. are, how they are going to win everything, how it will be difficult for Spurs to get anything from the game with them. It may well all be true but what a message to send to his players just before the game, or does he believe this will motivate Spurs to prove him wrong. Ok lads you have little chance they are much better than you, off you go. Does anybody think that will work?
Spurf- to be honest they have heard all this before from "Arry so I don't think it will affect them. They should be thinking about their own game not what has been reported in the media.
I don't think that's ever gonna change Spurf. what's more frustrating is that Nasri will see those comments.... ...and as a result It will probably probably fire him up even more on sunday. like we need that as things stand!!
Harry will never miss a chance to big himself up, or to make sure he gets his excuses in first, if he thinks it could all go tits up.
What is really annoying is that Spurs most successful manager in years is a loud mouthed media whore. I suppose it justs reflects the game at the moment.
I agree with your sentiment on that Ens, but to be honest as both Rednose and Whinger are (highly successful) scumbags do I really want our manager to be of the same ilk? apart from the bracketed bit that is.
Well Ensil I just stated that Harry was speaking out and airing the view that everybody else has. City are buying up all the talent and making it impossible for other fringe teams to compete.
What Harry said was correct, of course. However, as we just happen to be playing Citeh in our next game, it does all have the ring of "getting his excuses in first". I think what upsets a lot of fans, is not just what he says, but also, the frequency with which he seems to talk to the press. He seems to spend half his life in front of a camera at the moment
I suppose it justs reflects the game at the moment. That's what I said, where in that does it say it's ok for Fergusson & Wenger. Plus why as a Spurs fan should I be interested in what other managers do or say unless it has some relevance to Spurs. 2 + 2 = 5 Hmm!
Spurf - do you really think this is what he says in the dressing room. It's for public consumption. He talks about their forward line (rightly) but privately he will tell them about their weak defence (Lescott!) and that their manager is a pratt and will tell the lads how to win the game.
Maybe once Redknapp has won himself a few trophies then you can speak about him in the same bracket as Ferguson and Wenger. Until then he should shut up, stop all this PR nonsense and prepare his team for tomorrows game. Clueless.
Perhaps he really thinks that this matey relationship he has with the media will keep them off his back WHEN he's England Manager.... Someone should tell him, it won't.
I can't wait until he isn't our manager in that respect. He's done us well but his big mouth annoys the life out of me.
I have to say I prefer the Redknapp approach to that of his predecessor Senor Ramos, who probably said about 5 words to the media in over a year.
