Clearly you’ve just been diagnosed because if it was just high blood pressure they probably would have put you on A.C.E’s

I never said he deserved to die, I said he’s a dick for abusing his body when he clearly has medical complications.

Yep, he’d had an appendix and gall bladder out, probably more abuse will come to light later.

Yes . Since I went into hospital they withdrew ALL my meds , then gave me 2 + the betablocker , as I said they are still looking into it , but it may be a case of instead of stepping back and re-visiting what I am on , different dr's gave me another med to take , now it may be I have too many .

Depends what the other two are Jasper, maybe it’s one of those that’s causing you the problems.

  11. Thanks.

I've lost a stone so far. Giving up the alcohol was the hardest thing to do. I was never a heavy drinker, but I drank consistently, and alcohol is the biggest enemy to weight loss, especially as you get older.

My fitness has improved greatly, and I'm feeling so much more alive.

  12. They were both quite expensive, but - yes - the Versace suit was a lot of money, but it looks superb.

<laugh> I'll think you'll find the biggest enemy to weight loss is eating Greggs pies whilst sat in your den seething at a screen.

  18. He was some kind of "super star" DJ.

In my day, a DJ was someone on the radio who used to play the records of real musicians.

Today, a "DJ" is someone who nicks the music of real musicians, chops it up into bits and stitches it all back together with something called "beatz" over the top, and plays it at overbearing volumes to young people toked out of their tiny minds on Es.

    So I am told.

Why do all musicians think they have the right to belittle anything that's not old fashioned and boring? Not everybody wants to live like it's the 80's.
