Well they would have been further from us if they had lost. <whistle> And Chelsea were going to closer if some of us got their wish of their beating Spurs.

Clyne out, Lovren and Gomez available and sounds like Salah could play.

LFC injury latest: Clyne, Gomez, Lovren and more

Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren are in contention for Saturday's Premier League meeting with West Bromwich Albion.

The former returned to full training this week after suffering an ankle injury on international duty with England, while the latter joined his teammates in Thursday’s session at Melwood having been forced off in the closing minutes of last weekend’s win over AFC Bournemouth due to a knock.

Nathaniel Clyne is expected to miss out, however.

“Clyney struggled a little, he had a little muscle issue – unfortunately after a completely normal session. He is probably not available for tomorrow,” said Jürgen Klopp at his pre-match press conference.

“All the rest are available. Joe is back in full training, Dejan had only a little bit longer recovery but he trained yesterday as well. Nobody else I think, that’s it.”

The manager was also asked for the latest on longer-term absentees, namely Emre Can and Adam Lallana.

He replied: “There is no real news about Adam and Emre; they are in a good way [but] we will see what that means at the end. Everything is possible that they will be part of the squad again this season, or not.

Paul Merson has gone for away win.

A hard game this one - it was a great result for West Brom the other day. Liverpool are all-but assured of the top four, and you've got to give yourself a chance against Roma. I would be shocked if Liverpool played a strong team against West Brom.
We saw what happened when Man City played a strong side against Everton, and then they got blown away by Liverpool. Lesson learned - I think Jurgen Klopp has to play a lesser team, which is a shame on Mohamed Salah.

Surprised by the amount of changes. Nice to see Gomez back, gives us cover for central positions too. Good to see Ings get a chance with the big boys up top

Happy enough with the changes made. Let's face it - that team should be good enough to win today

like Jaffa surprised to see so may changes though i'm getting the impression that some of them were reqd i.e. Lovren & Robbo if we wat them fit fot Tuesday plus JK is clearly wary of playing TAA too often in a short space of time.
Am i the only one who thinks Firm hasn't been at 100% for a while now ?
