@Skylarker is your man for this one, as I don't know the area that well other than a few stops I make when I used to drive up to Sussex to see my folks. But I would definitely recommend Lyme Regis and a great little beach called Charmouth. <ok>

If you can get to Portland bill lighthouse , that’s lovely , also the shingle beach as you drive towards Portland is great .

Doubt you will get to Swanage , imho a really great place .

Piskie is right though , anything Weymouth related is Sky Larkers speciality . Enjoy and stay safe :)

Cheers jasper. I will see if I'm en route.

Just arrived at a hotel in Poole so not far to travel.

Bet I'm the only Chinese person for miles

Have a good weekend down here Bobby. Poole isn't the nicest town (needs a lot of improvements to the local area and the shops are outdated, some decent restaurants quayside though) but it's a decent hub to venture out from.
As Jasper said Swanage is a nice place and the surrounding beaches are great.
Can't comment on Weymouth as I've only been a few times, remember it being decent though.
As seen on the previous pages Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are well worth a visit but expect them to be busy.
Beer is a picturesque little village and worth a stop but only if you are already venturing down that far.

    Nice one.

Beer looks a bit far. Wasn't planning on exploring pool as only here for a day but wanted early start. Was thinking lol worth cove and durdle door in the morning til lunch afternoon hoping it won't be as busy.

Then swannage then late afternoon to evening at Bournemouth for the amusement arcades.

Which one first the cove or durdle?

Yeah sorry didn't read the post properly, Beer definitely too far.

I'd go Durdle Door first, then Lulworth but that's only because that's what we've done whenever we've been, someone else may know better though.

Had some bloody good nights down B'mouth beach and in those arcades.

Hope the weather stays decent for you mate :emoticon-0148-yes:

  17. I have two suits hanging in my wardrobe that I haven't been able to fit into since around 2007 - a Versace and a Hugo Boss (both handmade for me in 2004) - and I am determined to fit into both by the end of the Summer.

Nice, the Versace one must have been a chunk of cash. I do like a nice piece of cloth, topped off with a pair of top quality shoes.

    Hell I feel like **** :emoticon-0119-puke: .

Still , now I know when the DR / Hospital advise me to stay away from alcohol while on some new medication , I really should listen to them .

Even managed to delete my Jasper Avatar :(
