His heart doesn't look in it at Liverpool and I think he would love a move back to Newcastle. He always gave 100% here and was a handful for any defence. A move could happen like Robbie Keane. If it were to happen some when in the next few years would you want him back?

If he came out and said leaving Newcastle was a mistake, I'd consider thinking about it, but right now, no.

Nobody can really blame him for leaving though, he was shoved in a chopper and hardly knew what was going on

    <laugh> that is brilliant!

So he got out of the helicopter, got in a car because he was told to, was asked to enter a building and take part in some 'random medical tests', and then sign a 'meaningless' piece of paper that makes him richer, all without realising what was going on?

He might not be particularly intelligent but that would be taking it to a new level.

This is the single greatest transfer conspiracy story I've ever heard, please let him finish before we shoot him down!

Doesn't surprise me. Carroll was idolised here and in-terms of importance he was at the very top of the list. Liverpool paid £35mill and he has to climb the ladder from the bottom all over again. If he doesn't cut it, he'll be benched and the fans won't take much of it.

Perhaps he's finally realised that the grass isn't greener. I would like it if he did.

Mind you, when my mate met Nolan and Carroll at a festival this year, despite Nolan being an absolute ****, Carroll was extremely friendly. I honestly think he doesn't want to lose the respect and admiration of Newcastle fans. In fact, I'd go a far as to say that he's scared of losing it and even more stayed of being targeted with some stick.

I re-read what I put, came out all wrong, what i meant was the chopper was waiting there and he was told a bid of 35 MILLION had been accepted for him from LIVERPOOL, A MASSIVE CLUB, he was going to become THE MOST EXPENSIVE ENGLISH PLAYER. With the sums involved he wasn't going to say no as he thought it was too good for the club therefore he joined Liverpool. Ever since then he hasn't looked as committed and looks uninterested at Anfield. Therefore it makes me think he didn't really want to leave.

Signed a five-year deal three months before he walked out.
I'll wish him (and Enrique) the best but I wouldn't want him back.

And Robbie Keane's hardly the best example is he, went back to Spurs, did ****e, and almost immediately became a Celtic fan, a West Ham fan, and now an LA Galaxy fan.

Would have him back at the drop of a hat. The guy was forced out, no doubt about it, unlike Nolan, Enrique and Barton. The lad could be massive at Newcastle, it's our loss.

Look I agree he was told to pack for a long trip. He could have told Liverpool to sod off but didnt. We should never have sold him on the form he was in but I reckon like McDonald said they need to do a lot of work with the lad or a real talent could be lost.

If we were offered him Id take him back. But its highly unlikely with the current regime

Would have him back IF he apologised to the fans then admits he is an idiot and played on 10k a week. He has made a mistake and I for one don 't care a jot. :)

Liverpool would be want something like 40-50 million for him since they spent 35 million on him.

    No thanks.
