I hear its going to stay bright orange, but with black shorts and socks and a reflective stripe across the middle of the shirt.

Coincidentally, I was at the Gallery of Modern Art this week to see some Bridget Riley stuff.

Not mad on the optical illusion stuff - very clever but not for me.

I get that. It is clever and it can seem cold, like it's not proper art, especially when it's just a jpg. I probably saw it like that myself before the first time I saw her work, but when it's a big canvas and it fills your vision, it really hits you and there's a visceral connection when it ****s up your focus, which is what art's supposed to be. And not all her stuff is optical illusion; I really like the coloured ones, which may be geometric but are more abstract. They'd make cool 'keeper shirts, too. Might even put attackers off in a one-on-one.

Visceral art is meant to push you out of your comfort zone, I understand that, but I'm quite happy in my comfort zone <laugh> For me, I don't want to work hard to enjoy art. I know what I like and what I don't. I am also open-minded [I think] to new ideas but I don't want a challenge, I want enjoyment.

That's partly why I like it. It's accessible and easy to enjoy. You don't have to know why it's there. There was a large part of the exhibition for Ed Ruscha, who was supposed to be like David Lynch, so I was looking forward to that but it just left me meh. 60s photos of Sunset Strip and swimming pools? Jeez, I'm surprised they didn't have Velvet Underground playing.

No. I like the new font but not the collar. The 2nd and 3rd don't look good either.

I like the purple. Purple is a very dignified colour.

It.was the colour of nobility and power for centuries. At one point in time it was illegal for the common public to wear it.

I think that classifies it as a winning colour.

We ARE the kings of Europe. Need to keep the plebs down and return to the throne.
