Overstayed his time at Arsenal by at least 10 years.

I wonder what finally forced Arsenal’s absentee foreign owner to press the button ?

An empty trophy cabinet ...or 15,000 empty seats at their recent home games.

Boycotting fans CAN make a difference <cheers>

I think that a second year without the Champions league pushed them over the edge. Although they can still get into the Champion's League by winning the Europa Cup.

Let's see how a new manager improves them..<whistle>
Spurs & Liverpool are in the picture now...Automatic Top 4 is not a given for Arsenal anymore.

The wheels could come off at Arsenal very quickly now- Brent -on Rodgers is the favourite <laugh> you only have to look at the demographics on Arsenal TV to see the issue in part - so many non Londoner day trippers paying £150 for a cushioned seat and a tray of half time guacamole & expecting to win 6-0.

    Eddie Howe at Bournemouth.

He's a good fit personality wise and Bournemouth play decent football.

The only downside is his non-existent european experience and the handling of big names.

Eddie Howe converted Simon Francis into a footballer, so must have something going for him.

Whoever the new manager is, they should insist on Arsenal TV being closed down.

Listening to angry, unintelligible rants after every game from “fans” called Xi-Heong or Chinowba... really is excruciating.

I've had it up to here with the Arsene Wenger saga.I expect the sports media is all full of it, as they have been for the last God-knows-how-many years. I don't believe we're all waiting with baited breath to see who comes in, or what he will do. Correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe now we'll hear less of the whining Arsenal fans and more of the whining Everton and Manure fans.

He’s retired before he was fired.
Interesting piece on the Guardian website ...Arsenal were forced to start a ring round to drum up interest in STs this week. Mass non renewals. Unprecedented at Arsenal. Sounds more like Charlton...

The news bulletin on LBC has featured interviews with Arsenal fans. Feck them. 606 will be full of them on Saturday. 606 used to be a good phone-in for real fans.
