We had a holiday in Charmouth a few years back, took the kids to the Abbotsbury thing on a wet day, was very nice. Nice walk and the kids loved it, they were all very young then. Come it think of it, it pissed down all week. We've gone to France every year since!

I've done all those Abbortsbury ones when my boy was a bit younger, he loved it. Especially the farm. I haven't done the Waverly but I took the Mrs on the Steam train at Swanage, was a really nice day. Went for a weekend without any kids, nice time it was.
Like I said . If you get the chance , give the Waverley a go . Not sure it will be around much longer . Also they are doing up Swanage pier .
Lulworth is lovely, fair play. If we're bigging up where we live though, not much beats this; This is same beach, view from the 6th tee where I will be playing golf tomorrow.
