They do theme weeks so there's a load of German and Austrian stuff in at the moment. They even go as far as the booze.
    Great idea.

Lidl being Krauts sort of makes that an easy gig in fairness like.....

Not a fan of German fodder, the Pilsner I’ll take though.

They do all sorts of themes though on a rotation. The Spanish one is probably the best.

I can’t say I’ve been in one in years tbh, I use Aldi as there’s one a few miles away, but I don’t even know where the nearest Lidl is tbh.

It's very similar but Lidl have more of the deli stuff and world foods. I prefer it to Aldi but both are a hell of a lot better than the big supermarkets.

I’m a fan of Aldi, I tend to swerve the fruit and veg in the main, but most stuff is very good quality

They are both similar as they are both owned by the same family. Both offer great foods at cheaper prices.

I hate going to the big supermarkets now, I switched to Lidl about 4 years ago the price is great and the quality is better that the big places.

Yeah fruit and veg is ****e compared to big super markets. Always tell the Mrs to not buy their ****.

Everything else is just as good.

The fake Stella and Kronenburg is decent too, believe it or not.

Yeah the quality is a big thing for me, if the price went up I'd still go there.

I shopped there since they came to Britain and my area. Their meat is good and veg outstanding.

I read somewhere that the fake Stella is actually Stella.

No probs with the fruit and veg in the Lidl I use surprised Aldi isn't the same.
